The Leagate Osteopath

Laura runs an Osteopathy and Sports Injury clinic from The Leagate Inn. She qualified from The University College of Osteopathy, formerly The British School of Osteopathy, in 2015 having studied for 4 years.

After qualifying from University, she spent a winter season in the French Alps treating skiing and snowboarding injuries. Upon her return to the Uk she established Herts Pain and Injury Clinic in Hertfordshire where she treats a wide range of patients including elite athletes, pregnant women and elderly patients.

As well as Osteopathy, Laura is also qualified in Sports Massage and Medical acupuncture which she uses alongside her treatments.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that is used to form a detailed diagnosis and treat pain dysfunction. Osteopaths use a combination of techniques including; soft tissue massage, high velocity low amplitude thrusts, manipulations, joint articulation, stretching, rehabilitation and exercise.
